Dr. Bob Stanley Gardner has been serving as an Assistant Professor of Geography at St. John’s College, Agra, since 2017, contributing more than 10 years of experience to higher education. In recognition of his academic and research contributions, he was honoured with the Young Scientist Award in 2015.
His research expertise centres on Applied Climate Change and Sustainable Geospatial Analysis, with a strong focus on Climatic and Economic Sustainability and Sustainable Development. He actively integrates Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Remote Sensing techniques in both his teaching and research to address real-world environmental and socio-economic challenges.
Dr. Gardner is the Founding Editor and Editor-in-Chief of MappingAround.in, a digital platform that promotes geographical awareness, research dissemination, and innovative mapping practices. He has published 8 research papers, including works with Springer publication, and serves as a reviewer for Elsevier.
He is also an Executive Council Member of the Ecosophical Foundation For The Study Of Literature And Environment (EFSLE) and is an Academic Counsellor at Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). Dr. Gardner has completed certified courses from HarvardX, Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS–ISRO) and ESRI in Data Science, Cartography, and Geospatial Applications.
